MASTER CONTROL PANEL |
The brains of the security system. Its purpose is to comunicate with the monitoring station. |

KEYPAD |
The owner's way of communicating with their security system. This lets them know if the system is properly functioning. It will also allow them to perform many additional functions described in the user's manual. |

MOTION DETECTOR |
An interior device used to detect any movement within its range.
(PET MOTION DETECTORS are also available for 40lbs. and 100lbs.) |

DOOR/WINDOW CONTACTS |
Magnetic sensors - When the door/window is closed, the contacts meet and the system is ready to arm. When the door/window is open, the contacts are separated and the system is not ready to arm. |

INSIDE SIREN |
An audible warning device that sounds out an alarm with a minimum of 95 decibels. |

STANDARD BATTERY |
To keep the system operational in the event of a power failure. |
|
SMOKE DETECTOR |
A device with the purpose of detecting the presence of smoke in the home before it reaches the deadly state. |
|
GLASSBREAK DETECTOR |
A device used to detect the breaking of window/glass within a 25 foot radius, providing that there is no physical obstruction of the microphone. |

HEAT DETECTOR |
This is not a life-saving device. It is a device designed to detect extreme heat of 135 degrees Farenheit or higher. It is also equipped with a rate of rise sensor. If the heat rises more than 5 degrees Farenheit in 5 seconds, the alarm will sound. (Generally used where a smoke detector cannot be placed - such as a kitchen, furnace room, or garage.) |

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR |
Used as an early warning device to the presence of carbon monoxide caused by furnaces, fireplaces and automobiles. |

ALPHA KEYPAD |
A full English keypad with the capability to be more detailed by displaying custom words such as "front door, dad's window" etc. |

RESIDENTIAL OUTSIDE SIREN |
A weather and temperature resistant audible warning device that is normally placed in the attic, near a vent so it can alert the neighbors. |

KEYFOB |
4 button programmable keychain trasmitter that allows you to arm and disarm your alarm within 100 feet of the control panel. |
